On a northeastern peninsula of the lake, Cottonwood Creek Marina has rested and served as a family-owned, family-oriented marina since 2003. Cottonwood Creek Boat Rental was opened in 2012 by the Miller family as an extension of a marina that had already won three “Marina of the Year” awards. They would go on to win three more since then, and Cottonwood Creek Boat Rental shares the mission to provide a fun, family-oriented environment staffed by courteous, friendly employees.
Over the years, we’ve continued to set the pace for the best boat rentals on Lake Lewisville, from upgrading to 2018 Sunchasers, to 2021 Benningtons, to the 2025 Massimo Pontoons and the newly renovated ship store that you see here now. You’ll love the clean, new feel of these quality boats. The boat rental service is located on the water next to a gentle shoreline adjacent to Cottonwood Park, where you can gather with your family at one of many picnic tables or play areas to complete a truly full day on the lake.
The marina and Cottonwood Creek Boat Rental are easily accessible from Little Elm, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Denton, Plano, the perimeter of Lake Lewisville, and even from Dallas.
Cottonwood Creek Boat Rental’s mission is to provide an easy, fun and safe boating experience for all. You may be a retired sailor with shells from the lagoons of New Zealand, or a toddler from Dallas. Take your day on Lake Lewisville up a notch with our tritoons. Choose Platinum, Platinum Plus, or Platinum Plus Lounger for more stability, more power, and more space. Great for cruising with a crowd and tow-ready fun.
Kayaks
Single or double
Pick between the nimble Malibu 9.5 and the roomier Malibu 11.5, while pairs can share the fun in a Tandem sit‑on‑top.
