What To Expect On Your Boat Rental Day at Lake Lewisville
Our mission as a facet of “The Lake Lewisville family marina” is to help you be completely prepared for a memorable and safe lake day. That’s it: simplicity, safety, and fun. Here’s the process once you arrive at Cottonwood Creek Marina:
- Check in at our Boat Rental office, located directly down the main ramp to the right of the Ship Store.
- The State of Texas requires anyone born on or after September 1, 1993 to have completed a mandatory boater education course before driving a boat over 15 horsepower, and we recommend it for everybody. You’ll show your identification, boater safety card, and review your rental agreement.
- Our staff will provide a brief orientation and safety overview, including proper life jacket safety.
- Launch, choose a good playlist, and have an incredible day! Our staff can direct you to different areas of the 29,000-acre Lake Lewisville for watersports, sight-seeing, or fishing.
- Return when your rental window is up, and we’ll help you dock, if needed.
